The tech industry is growing fast and wide innovation and disruption keeps coming daily and every single seconds, So many will be left behind and many will be surprise at the change they never expected.
So many will lose their jobs If they are not abrace to the new trends that is changing the world at large. Getting the required skill is paramount to be part of this changes. Fintech, Internet of things, Coding/programming, DIgital marketing and so much more that will create jobs and side gigs for youths. But what about the kids, the teenagers and the youth in the slum, how will they learn these knowing the they can't access these opportunities and the required resources? How will they be part of this trend that will make a lasting impact their lives and be a part of the growth in the nations economy? Through our CodeTent Project, we bringing bringing these opportunities to the slum and leaving a lasting change in underserved communities in Africa.
CodeTent is focus on bridging the digital and tech gab in rural communities by training student who have the drives and passion to learn and create useful technology through programming, mobile application development, graphics designing, Html, CSS, Java script, python and digital animation programming. This helps student develop an early interest in information technology and related careers.
With this project student from schools in rural community can be empowered to become part of the catalyst for the growth of tech ecosystems in the African continent. Through a mix of classes, workshops, presentations, excursions and leadership exercises, we endeavour to build strong, intelligent and minds, well-prepared for living and working in an increasingly technology-driven world.
